Job summary

Naniq Global Logistics, LLC is seeking an Inventory Control Coordinator to manage terminal inventory through receipt, putaway, storage, picking, and shipping. This hands-on role uses Extensiv 3PL Warehouse Manager with regular floor verification to maintain accurate records and report discrepancies to the Inventory Manager.

Responsibilities include cycle counts, root-cause discrepancy investigations, and timely, fact-based reporting.

Qualifications

• Two years' experience preferred
• Experience in inventory control and cycle counts
• Ability to work on a hands-on warehouse role

Responsibilities

• Operate safety procedures in HSSE-compliant environment
• Perform scheduled and targeted cycle counts; compare physical inventory with system balances and document results.
• Investigate shortages, overages, damages, duplicate locations, incorrect case packs, and discrepancies.
• Verify receiving, license plate or pallet IDs, putaway, transfers, picking and shipping transactions are accurate and timely.
• Maintain item masters, units of measure, pack quantities, locations, lot/date, and barcode data within access levels.
• Review inventory adjustments; assemble docs and obtain approvals before corrections.
• Investigate short-shipped or missing items by reviewing history, locations, and records.
• Maintain clear location labels, barcode tags, and naming standards across the warehouse.
• Identify slow-moving, damaged, expired, or improperly stored product and escalate findings.
• Partner with operations and customer-service to resolve inventory issues without disrupting daily service.
• Train and coach warehouse staff in inventory procedures and scanning.
• Prepare daily/weekly inventory reports and communicate open issues and resolutions.
• Support physical inventories, audits, and process improvements assigned by Terminal Manager.
