Job summary

First Solar seeks a Warehouse Inventory Control Specialist to ensure accurate SAP transactions, process outbound shipments, and maintain tight inventory controls. The role supports cycle counts, data reporting, and continuous improvement while adhering to Sox controls and import/export regulations.

Strong attention to detail and communication are essential. Applicants should have a High School diploma or GED, 3+ years in shipping/receiving, and familiarity with SAP.

Qualifications

• High School or GED equivalent required.
• College coursework, certification, or formal training highly desired.
• Minimum of 3 years of warehouse (shipping/receiving) experience required.
• Cycle counting experience is beneficial.
• SAP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory and data entry accuracy.
• Assist with physical inventories and cycle counts.
• Investigate variances and take corrective actions.
• Support finished goods and WIP inventories.
• Process outbound shipment requests.
• Prioritize shipments by delivery dates.
• Process offsite shipments and update tracking.
• Help prepare shipping/export/import documents.
• Contribute to continuous improvement.
• Back-up other inventory control roles.
• Promote housekeeping and safety.
• Communicate effectively and foster teamwork.
• Other duties as assigned.
