Job summary

First Solar, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Inventory Control associate in Trinity, AL to manage shipment processing, scheduling pickups, and documentation, while updating internal tracking systems and communicating shipment status to requestors.

The role supports cycle counts, physical inventories, and continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring compliance with Sox controls and import/export regulations. SAP experience is preferred and a High School diploma with 3+ years shipping/receiving is

Qualifications

Knowledge of inventory control procedures and practices.
Organized, attentive to detail with a high degree of accuracy.
Ability to analyze and solve problems effectively.
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
Knowledge and understanding of computer applications (SAP experience a plus).

Responsibilities

Responsible for inventory and data entry reports and their accuracy.
Assists with physical inventories and monthly cycle counts.
Analyzes and investigates inventory variances and implements corrective actions.
Assists with finished goods and WIP inventories activities.
Processes outbound shipment requests and prioritizes by delivery date.
Updates internal tracking system(s) for offsite shipments.
Supports shipping export/import documents creation.
Supports continuous improvement activities.
Serves as back-up to other Inventory Control positions.
Maintains housekeeping and safety practices.
