Job summary

Customized Distribution Service is seeking an Inventory Control Systems Clerk in South Brunswick Township, NJ to maintain accurate inventory levels and manage data within the CDS warehouse management system and client systems.

The role requires cycle counts, RF scanning proficiency, and professional communication with clients and staff. Forklift operation and safety certification are part of daily duties, with a standard Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced distribution environment.
• 1+ year of experience operating a forklift.
• Proficient with an RF Scanner.
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory counts using bay audit process.
• Perform cycle counts and enter results in the weekly spreadsheet.
• Operate sit-down or stand-up forklift as needed.
• Report inventory damage and losses immediately.
• Communicate professionally with colleagues and client representatives.
• Reconcile current inventory and notify supervisors of discrepancies.
• Assist in training of newly hired personnel.
• Maintain RF system knowledge and participate in general warehouse housekeeping.
