Job summary

Whelan Machine in Louisville, KY, seeks an Inventory Control Coordinator to maintain accurate ERP/MRP records for raw materials, WIP and finished goods on the production floor. You will run cycle counts, process receipts and transfers, monitor min/max levels, and support quality with holds and disposition of nonconforming material, while collaborating with Purchasing and Production Control.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years in inventory control or related manufacturing role.
• ERP/MRP experience with transactions and reporting.
• Strong Excel skills and attention to detail.
• Must be a U.S. Person per ITAR.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records for raw materials, WIP, and finished goods in ERP/MRP.
• Run cycle counts and resolve discrepancies between counts and records.
• Process receipts, issues, transfers, and returns with lot/serial traceability.
• Label, locate, and organize inventory; monitor min/max levels and reorder points.
• Reconcile POs against received material; support quality with holds and disposition.
• Prepare inventory reports and suggest process improvements.
