Job summary

Dixon Ticonderoga Company (formerly Pacon Corporation) is seeking an Inventory Control Clerk to join our distribution team on the second shift, Monday through Thursday, 1 pm to 11 pm, at our Appleton, Wisconsin facility. The role focuses on reconciling inventory, supporting FGDS processes, and ensuring accuracy across multiple departments.

Responsibilities include cycle counts, data entry, and maintaining FGDS records while coordinating with customer service, warehousing, and quality assurance

Qualifications

• Two-year degree preferred or high school diploma with emphasis on business/supply chain.

Responsibilities

• Assist in coordinating and reconciling inventory discrepancies via cycle counts and data entry.
• Investigate FGDS items, analyze exceptions, and update inventory.
• Expedite daily FGDS reallocations, quality checks, and material disposition with inventory adjustments.
• Perform physical inventories and coordinate FGDS cycle counts.
• Assist in answering inventory questions for customer service, invoicing, warehousing, manufacturing and QA.
• Maintain records of FGDS transactions, counts, discrepancies and resolutions.
• Review inventory levels and perform ABCD analysis to determine optimal stock levels.
• Coordinate delivery from outside locations to fill orders; contact carriers for pickups.
• Trace shipments as requested and support problem resolution across departments.
• Develop metrics to demonstrate improvements in inventory controls.
