Job summary

National DCP, LLC. is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist for our Lockport, IL distribution center. You will perform cycle counts across freezer, cooler and dry areas and report findings to management to support accuracy and efficiency.

The role requires proficiency with Manhattan TLM/WM, SAP and Excel, plus experience with RF devices and forklifts. You will collaborate with operations to implement process improvements and maintain best-in-class inventory levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent hands-on experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in inventory/materials roles preferred.
• Proficiency with Warehouse Management and ERP systems (Manhattan TLM/WM, SAP) and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cycle count activities in accordance with NDCP procedures.
• Identify and correct inventory discrepancies at location level.
• Prepare reports using Manhattan, SAP, and Excel, and present findings to Management.
• Work with key personnel to implement process improvements for accuracy and productivity.
• Check in daily returns, RARs, damages, and overages.
• Verify the code-dated product rotation.
• Provide troubleshooting and recommendations on inventory systems hardware.
• Move pallets with forklift or powered jacks.
• Participate on project teams as needed.
