Aerotek in The Colony, TX is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to manage inventory, issue parts for orders, and minimize downtime in a climate-controlled? environment. You will operate RF scanners, handle up to 50 lbs, and coordinate material receipts and deliveries.

The role is contract to hire, fully onsite, with a steady day shift and potential for growth within a strong team. Aerotek offers weekly pay and standard benefits within a manufacturing logistics setting.

Qualifications

• Experience with material handling, packing, and picking.
• Order picking and inventory control experience.
• Lifts up to 50 lbs safely.
• ERP systems experience is preferred.
• Experience in high-volume or automated distribution centers.

Responsibilities

• Issue parts from inventory for work-in-process orders, material usage, and shipping.
• Pick materials and identify shortages affecting production schedules.
• Reconcile inventory to eliminate extra costs and minimize manufacturing downtime.
• Recognize and sort material receipts at the dock.
• Deliver materials to the appropriate location.
• Utilize RF scanners for inventory control.
