BJ’s Wholesale Club in Portsmouth, NH is seeking a part-time Inventory Control Clerk responsible for executing departmental inventory counts, processing damaged or returned merchandise, and coordinating with other departments to maintain accurate stock. The role requires attention to detail and basic math skills, plus the ability to use a computer for reporting.

Qualifications

• Must successfully complete required training and certification processes.
• Effective communication, interpersonal, and computer skills.
• Basic math skills required.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Works with department teams to track, plan, coordinate and execute inventory counts.
• Obtains return authorizations from vendors and processes returns.
• Maintains correct stock status for damaged, defective, and returned items.
• Re-wraps sellable merchandise with proper packaging and labeling.
• Maintains a clean, safe, and organized work area.
