Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking an Inventory Clerk to support department inventory counts, process damaged or defective merchandise, and obtain return authorizations from vendors. You will work cross-functionally to manage returns, salvage, and re-wrap sellable items, ensuring accuracy and compliance with club policies.

Ideal candidates have basic math skills, strong communication, and 18+ years of age. The role offers weekly pay and a comprehensive benefits package including health options.

Qualifications

• Must successfully complete required training and certification processes.
• Effective communication, interpersonal, and computer skills.
• Basic math skills required.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Track, plan, coordinate and execute department inventory counts as prescribed by Home Office.
• Obtain return authorizations from vendors and process vendor chargebacks.
• Maintain stock/inventory status for damaged, defective, and returned merchandise.
• Wrap sellable merchandise using proper seal and shrink-wrap packaging guidelines.
• Ensure department is organized and clean and follow safety standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned and ensure regular, predictable attendance.
