Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific in Indianapolis, IN is seeking an Inventory Associate to support warehouse operations on the first shift. You will use handheld RF scanners to replenish stock, rotate items, and process orders while maintaining accurate counts and records.

You will also receive shipments, inspect goods, respond to customer emails, and collaborate with teammates to improve daily workflows. The role requires safety awareness, PPE compliance, and reliability in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years in customer-facing, retail stocking, warehouse, or inventory-control roles.
• Proficiency with RF handheld scanners and mobile scanning apps.
• Strong English communication skills via email.
• Teamwork, attention to detail, and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Perform replenishments, stock rotation, cycle counts, order entry, returns, and backorder processing using handheld RF scanners.
• Receive and inspect shipments, scan and store items, and maintain up-to-date inventory records.
• Own customer interactions via email, follow up by phone, and assist internal partners.
• Collaborate with supervisors and teammates to improve daily workflows.
• Uphold safety and PPE standards at all times.
• Monitor stock levels and flag gaps to prevent operational issues.
• May perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
