Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific in Virginia is seeking an inventory-control teammate to support Unity Lab Services. You will use RF scanners, receive shipments, perform cycle counts, and process orders while maintaining accurate records and ensuring safe operations.

The role requires 1–2 years in similar settings, a high school diploma, and clear English communication. You will work Mon-Fri, participate in safety programs, and contribute to a culture of integrity, initiative, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years in customer-facing, retail stocking, warehouse, or inventory-control experience.
• Comfort with RF handheld scanners and basic Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Use handheld RF scanners and the mobile app to perform replenishments, stock rotation, cycle counts, order entry, returns, and backorder processing.
• Receive and inspect shipments, scan and store items, and maintain cycle counts for accurate inventory records.
• Own customer interactions—respond via email, follow up by phone, and assist internal partners to resolve questions.
• Collaborate with supervisors to propose improvements that streamline daily workflows.
• Uphold safety standards and wear PPE; monitor stock levels and flag gaps.
• May perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
