Job summary

AMS Fulfillment in Provo, UT is seeking a part-time Inventory Specialist to maintain stock levels, manage reorders, and support the procurement team. You will operate the warehouse inventory system, run audits, and collaborate with vendors to ensure timely deliveries.

You should be highly organized, proficient with inventory software, and able to lift to 40 pounds. Forklift certification is preferred; prior warehouse experience is required.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication with warehouse workers, purchasing, and vendors.
• Basic understanding of inventory control procedures.
• Proficient keyboarding skills.
• Extremely organized and able to work with minimum supervision.
• Ability to develop professional relationships with outside vendors.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain stock levels and reorder stock up to limit.
• Establish backup sources for high-demand items.
• Analyze inventory reports to identify items for automatic deliveries.
• Provide inventory reports to purchasing and inventory control.
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors.
• Maintain daily records of goods received and shipments.
• Manage inventory system and coordinate upgrades to software.
• Conduct regular spot and full audits of physical inventory.
• Assist with annual physical inventory audits.
• Operate forklift when necessary.
• Perform other related duties as requested.
