Job summary

Custom Pipe and Fabrication is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist I to oversee procurement, storage, receiving, and distribution of materials to production facilities. You will manage material flow, track inventory accuracy, and develop loss-mitigation protocols.

The role requires basic inventory management experience, a high school diploma, and proficiency with Microsoft Office to maintain records and generate reports. This is a full-time on-site position in Lubbock, TX.

Qualifications

  • Requires at least 1 year experience in inventory management, logistics, or related field.
  • High School Diploma or GED required; may substitute related work experience for degree.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain daily records for invoices and shipments.
  • Ensure inventory levels are maintained.
  • Examine raw materials and supplies to determine shortages.
  • Document daily shipments and deliveries to replenish stock.
  • Create reports for adjustments and inventory operations.
  • Evaluate new inventory and readiness to deliver.
  • Perform cycle counts on inventory.
  • Assist in physical inventory preparation.
  • Ensure duties are performed safely and efficiently.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by Inventory Manager.
