Job summary

Accurate Personnel is seeking an Inventory Control Clerk in Joliet, IL to maintain accurate inventory records and support warehouse operations. The role requires a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of related experience.

Shift options include 1st and 2nd, with hourly wages starting at $19.32–$20.32. Benefits are provided. Ability to operate a reach truck and proficient MS Office skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year experience in a similar position.
• Must be able to drive reach truck.
• Experience using MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and updates inventory records.
• Creates efficient and accurate inventory management procedures.
• Performs daily activities to maintain inventory management procedures.
• Reconciles inventories to book records and makes adjustments.
• Coordinates annual physical inventory procedures.
• Recommends programs to improve inventory management.
• Plans and implements a recoup program for damaged/defective product.
• Maintains records to track recouped product and return saleable product to stock.
• Supervises inventory quality and accuracy reporting.
• Performs weekly cycle counts and adjusts systems as necessary.
• Develops programs to audit returns and move returned product to proper location.
