Job summary

Melaleuca: The Wellness Company in Idaho Falls is seeking an Inventory Control Associate to join our warehouse team. You will perform daily cycle counts, conduct location audits, investigate variances, and communicate findings with Purchasing, Forecasting, Information Services, and Accounting to keep inventories accurate.

This role requires lifting up to 40 lbs, standing and walking for long shifts, and using JD Edwards and HighJump systems.

Qualifications

• Experience with JDE/High Jump systems.
• Ability to work independently.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lift at least 40 lbs.
• Standing, sitting and/or walking during shift.
• Pulling, stretching, bending and lifting during shift.
• Visually read bottles and tote tags.
• Manual dexterity for filing, sorting, writing, etc.
• 3+ months inventory control experience preferred.
• Knowledge of computers and related software.
• Strong basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Researches and corrects transfer errors and variances; notifies responsible parties.
• Completes requisitions for various departments.
• Monitors Auto Relief; researches and corrects all auto relief errors.
• Maintains obsolete inventory.
• Answers inventory questions from multiple departments (Purchasing, Forecasting, IS, Accounting, etc.).
• Data entries all adjustments and returns movements.

• Conducts Location Audits on assigned areas and location with a high degree of re-occurring errors.
• Researches and corrects any transfer errors and inventory variances, then notifies person(s) responsible for creating error.
• Monitors Auto Relief; researches and corrects all auto relief errors.
• Answers and/or resolves inventory questions from various departments, (i.e., Purchasing, Forecasting, Information Services, Accounting, etc.).
• Data entries all adjustments and returns movements.

3:00 PM-11:30 PM (Monday-Friday)

• Manual dexterity for such duties as collating, sorting, filing, writing, etc.
• Three (3) months or more previous inventory control experience helpful.
• Knowledge of computers and related software.
• Excellent basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide, etc.).
• Ability to perform the essential duties and responsibilities with efficiency and accuracy.
