Job summary

Americold Logistics, LLC in is seeking an Inventory Control Associate to support safe receipt, storage, and shipment of food products. The role involves operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts and RF scanners to move items around the facility.

Requires a high school diploma or GED (preferred) and at least three months of related experience. Candidates should be reliable, able to work independently, and willing to overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED preferred.
• Three (3) months of related work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight safely using proper equipment to move products to storage throughout facility.
• Stack and store merchandise, pick and assemble orders for shipment, check freight for accuracy, damage, and infestation, while labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing, and repacking as directed by management.
• Operate equipment (sit down and stand-up forklifts, RF scanners) in a manner that promotes safety in compliance with OSHA standards.
• Meet production standards while maintaining a clean and orderly work environment.
• Perform inventory, cleaning, or forklift battery changes and may perform other duties outside of normal responsibilities as needed.
