Job summary

Americold Logistics, LLC. is hiring a Forklift Operator to safely receive, store and ship food products using sit-down and stand-up forklifts, RF scanners and related equipment.

Under general supervision, you will load/unload freight, palletize, inspect for damage, and maintain a clean, safe work environment while meeting production standards. 3 months experience preferred; HS diploma or GED preferred; overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 3 months of related work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight safely using proper equipment.
• Stack and store merchandise, pick and assemble orders, and check for damage or infestation.
• Operate forklifts and RF scanners in a safe manner to promote OSHA compliance.
• Meet production standards while maintaining a clean, safe work environment.
• Assist with inventory and battery changes as needed.
