Job summary

National Safety Apparel is seeking an Inventory Control Supervisor to ensure accurate warehouse inventory and support production planning in a fast-paced environment.

You will count items, oversee adding and discontinuing items, operate a forklift with training provided, and enforce safety policies while maintaining precise records in the inventory system to help the business run smoothly.

Qualifications

• Two years of warehousing/inventory experience preferred.
• Experience with Outlook, Word and Excel preferred.
• Associate’s Degree or higher preferred.

Position Overview

Assuring that inventory is correct.

Essential Job Functions

• Counting items and assuring that the inventory is correct in TCM in order to ensure proper production planning
• Executing projects including incorporating new items into the warehouse and also the discontinuation of items.
• Ability to use a forklift and Joey (training provided)
• Comply with established safety policies and be able to safely use the equipment provided in a safe manner, including shutting down machinery suspected of being unsafe.

Working Conditions

Warehouse is hot in the summer months and can be cool in the winter.
