Job summary

Saputo Cheese USA, Inc. is seeking an inventory lead for our Wisconsin facility. You will confirm physical counts, manage variance reporting, and drive daily inventory control processes to support accurate stock levels.

Responsibilities include cycle counts, coordinating returns, supervising warehouse activities, and ensuring timely order fulfillment. Strong SAP/WMS skills and leadership experience are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• 2-year degree in supply chain management preferred.
• Two years in a lead warehouse role in a warehouse/logistics environment.
• Excellent computer skills with word processing, spreadsheet applications and inventory control software (WMS, SAP a plus).
• Able to operate material handling equipment.
• Read and interpret documents such as customer orders and inventory reports to ensure accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Perform product inventory activities by confirming physical inventory quantity and location along with reporting variances.
• Responsible for inventory control activities, including creating, assigning, and completing inventory control tasks, identifying, investigating and resolving inventory discrepancies.
• Complete monthly cycle counts on all inventory and locations, both physical and virtual, and perform reconciliation as needed.
• Oversee all physical customer returns, investigate customer claims related to shortages, overages or damages, and provide research summary and responses.
• Perform warehouse team lead responsibilities, including coordinating, assigning work activities, reporting and follow-up.
• Assist with investigating product shortages and ensuring order fill rates are met.
• Create STOs (Stock Transfer Orders) to move products between warehouse locations.
• Provide scheduling support to backfill vacancies to minimize disruption.
• Perform SAP transactions and complete required documentation.
• Collaborate with other departments to minimize warehouse disruption.
• Attend required training and shift meetings.
