Job summary

CRH is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to manage finished goods and raw materials inventory with a focus on accuracy. The role supports production by tracking movements, posting deliveries to ERP, and coordinating with accounting and plant management to ensure supply availability.

The position is on-site, non-exempt, with benefits including retirement savings and health plans. Candidates should have inventory experience and basic MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Inventory control experience.
• Proficiency with MS Office Software.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. periodically throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Reconciliation of receiving/purchasing documentation and distribution to accounting/purchasing.
• Ensure all deliveries are properly received and posted in ERP system.
• Report daily material movement to reflect production usage.
• Perform inventory cycle counts monthly or quarterly with proper tag controls and test counts.
• Ensure warehouse items are received, stored, separated by contract, and counted correctly.
• Identify and report slow-moving inventory and obsolete material.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to maintain material handling and documentation.
