Job summary

HW Staffing Solutions seeks an Inventory Control Specialist to own end-to-end inventory integrity—from receipt to shipment—and to support production on the floor. You will manage ERP transactions, ensure accurate data, and collaborate with Purchasing, Warehouse, and Finance to resolve variances.

The role requires 2+ years in inventory control or related operations, proficiency in ERP systems and Excel, and the ability to lift up to 60 lbs.

Qualifications

2+ years in inventory control, manufacturing, or warehouse operations.
Proficiency with ERP systems and intermediate Microsoft Excel.
Able to lift up to 60 lbs and operate pallet jacks/forklifts.

Responsibilities

Inventory Accuracy: Oversee cycle counts and physical inventories; investigate and resolve variances to maintain precise stock levels.
ERP Management: Monitor and complete daily production consumption and batch closeouts within the ERP system.
Operational Support: Coordinate with Purchasing, Warehouse, and Finance to align records and resolve transaction discrepancies.
Floor Support: Assist with physical material flow to production and perform manual inventory movement as needed.
Reporting: Prepare daily and weekly inventory reports and support cost-of-goods-sold audits.
Compliance: Ensure all activities follow food safety and HACCP protocols.
