Job summary

Oldcastle APG, a CRH Company, is seeking an Inventory Specialist to support production and warehouse operations. The role focuses on inventory control of finished goods, ensuring accuracy, routine verification, and timely posting in the ERP system.

You will collaborate with plant management and cross-functional teams to maintain optimal inventory levels, execute quarterly counts, and implement FIFO for finished goods while seeking process improvements and accuracy across the site.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent training, experience, and education.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in manufacturing.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills to gather data from multiple sources and report findings.
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to lift up to 80 pounds and operate forklift as needed.

Responsibilities

• Inventory control of finished goods.
• Ensure inventory accuracy and daily verification of finished goods.
• Report quality issues and shortages; conduct quarterly inventories.
• Reconcile receiving/purchasing documentation and post in ERP.
• Ensure deliveries are posted in ERP and reflect material movement.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels with cross-functional teams; implement FIFO for finished goods.
