Border States Industries, Inc. seeks a DC Inventory Control Specialist in Fargo, ND to manage cycle counts, investigate discrepancies, and drive inventory accuracy using WMS and RF technology. The role collaborates with distribution teams to optimize storage and dock-to-stock metrics and supports process improvements.

The position emphasizes adherence to inventory best practices and cross-functional teamwork in a fast-paced distribution center environment.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent work experience required.
• 3+ years experience in warehouse operations or inventory control preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of PC for Windows, Microsoft Office, and SAP software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as liaison between the distribution center and corporate inventory, demand planning, and procurement teams.
• Proactively address concerns from stockouts or inventory discrepancies.
• Develop cycle counting plans and ensure benchmarks are met.
• Complete cycle counts and adjust discrepancies in the system.
• Coordinate with inbound, picking, packing and shipping for smooth inventory flow.
