Job summary

Border States in Fargo, ND seeks a Warehouse Associate to support warehouse operations. You will receive freight, check for damages, and move material to stock locations while filling orders for delivery to customers.

The role involves coordinating with departments, carriers, and vendors to resolve discrepancies and maintain inventory accuracy. A safe, efficient work ethic and reliability are essential in this employee-owned company.

Qualifications

• 2 years of work experience preferred.
• Forklift operation and knowledge of electrical products/systems preferred.
• If the employee will be driving, candidate must be at least 21 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Receives incoming freight and checks the material for damages or shortages.
• Distributes material to the proper stock locations.
• Fills special orders and/or backorders as material is received.
• Follows-up with appropriate departments, carriers, and/or vendors on receiving discrepancies, damages, and shortages.
• Checks and packs material to be delivered.
• Maintains shipping equipment and keeps work area clean and safe.
• Fills orders for delivery to customers.
• Maintains daily driver logs and vehicle inspection sheets, as appropriate.
