Job summary

Kyocera Document Solutions America, Inc. is seeking an Inventory Control Coordinator for our Pennsylvania distribution center. The role focuses on improving data integrity, reducing losses, and stabilizing variances to minimize backorders and improve order accuracy.

You will audit inventories, investigate variances, lead quarterly counts, and coordinate with HQ. The position requires experience with high SKU counts, WMS/TMS/ERP systems, and strong analytical skills.

Qualifications

• 4–5 years of demonstrated experience in Inventory, Logistics, Fulfillment, or Operations.
• Knowledgeable in inventory control best practices.
• Proven experience in inventory analysis and inventory improvement initiatives.
• Experience with a high volume of SKUs (2,000+).
• Proficient in WMS, TMS, and ERP software (Oracle ERP experience a plus).
• Skilled in data analytics and reporting.
• Experience in Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
• Self-starter and problem solver.
• Willing and able to operate powered industrial equipment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily bin locator audits and item spot checks.
• Investigate and reconcile inventory variances identified through cycle counts with the warehouse management team.
• Lead quarterly physical inventory counts and onsite reconciliation efforts.
• Prepare and submit physical count reports.
• Compile data and generate reports on key inventory metrics for the facility.
• Act as liaison between the DC and HQ for directives and information sharing.
• Communicate inventory issues and potential risks to DC and IC management.
• Collaborate with logistics to implement best-practice initiatives at the distribution center.
• Lead training of new hires at the facility.
• Perform statistical sampling audits of inbound/outbound shipments for accuracy.
• Investigate and resolve inventory-related customer disputes (shortage/overage).
• Investigate and resolve back-ordered items.
