Job summary

Alexandria Moulding is seeking an Inventory Control Clerk in Mansfield, MA to support accurate inventory management. You will perform cycle counts, investigate discrepancies, and assist with physical inventories while collaborating with Warehouse, Shipping and Inventory leadership to improve processes.

The role requires experience with WMS and strong Excel skills, with preferred background in warehouse or distribution environments. Starting pay is $24 per hour, with full-time benefits at SBP.

Qualifications

• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Previous inventory control, warehouse, or distribution experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled cycle counts and research the root causes of inventory discrepancies.
• Investigate inventory variances and assist with identifying appropriate resolutions.
• Assist with the preparation and completion of the annual physical inventory.
• Support investigations of inventory inaccuracies identified through cycle counts and other inventory controls.
• Identify and recommend process improvements related to inventory accuracy and inventory management.
• Research and follow up on BOM issues that may result in inventory discrepancies.
• Conduct daily dock audits, investigate discrepancies, and coordinate follow-up with Warehouse, Shipping, Sales, and other departments as needed.
• Correct inventory and transactional errors, including overbuild issues, system adjustments, and cycle-count corrections.
• Review negative inventory balances, investigate the cause, and make or coordinate appropriate corrections.
• Maintain accurate inventory records within the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Perform other duties as assigned.
