Job summary

HD Supply is seeking a warehouse associate to act as a point-of-contact for inventory tasks within a distribution center. You will operate material handling equipment to move inventory and support daily order processing.

The role involves monitoring stock, conducting cycle counts, and resolving inventory discrepancies while following internal control procedures. A HS diploma or GED is preferred and prior warehouse experience is valued.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in inventory control.
• HS Diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience with inventory control and material handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain inventory in the distribution center by recording received and stocked merchandise.
• Complete and review cycle counts and maintain inventory adjustments.
• Audit inventory to ensure systems align with daily order processing.
• Research and resolve inventory issues, adjustments, and discrepancies per internal control procedures.
• Determine appropriate placement for inventory based on size, selling volume, and other factors.
• Assist with loading damaged merchandise into delivery vehicles using material handling equipment.
• Maintain quality and inventory control manuals.
• Perform general warehouse duties as needed.
