Job summary

Idlogistics in Reno, NV is seeking an Inventory Clerk to support the site Operations Manager in maintaining accurate stock levels, processing orders, and ensuring records match physical counts.

You will perform daily cycle counts, investigate discrepancies, handle returned shipments, and uphold GMP, food safety, and safety rules while keeping thorough documentation and working with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED or one-year related experience in inventory control and/or training; Associate degree preferred.
• Knowledge of inventory management procedures and general warehousing terminology.
• Familiarity with warehouse and inventory management systems is required.
• Skills in mathematics and using personal computers/excel.

Responsibilities

• Perform cycle counts daily as assigned.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies found through cycle counts and determine root cause of the problem.
• Pull slow moving or obsolete inventory for disposal, salvage, or donation.
• Process returned shipments by unloading the trailer and determining what is first quality or damaged inventory.
• Ensure that all proper written documentation is signed off and filed.
• Participate and coach during physical inventories or samplings to ensure integrity of the process.
• Conduct searches to locate products within the system and adjust records for discrepancies.
• Identify and research unique inventory occurrences to correct them prior to locking a bay or making an inventory adjustment.
• Maintain food safety and sanitation standards per Food Safety Guidelines.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices and report noncompliance when observed.
• Observe all company safety rules and assist in enforcement as appropriate.
• Other duties as assigned.
