Job summary

Donaldson Company seeks an inventory professional to manage cycle counts and audits at our Tennessee plant. You will count, record, and investigate stock, correct discrepancies in Oracle, and drive improvements to reach high inventory accuracy.

You will train plant personnel on inventory control, use MS Word/Excel, and maintain safe procedures in a fast-paced, team environment. This position requires a HS diploma and legal work status in the U.S.

Qualifications

• A combination of education and experience, generally acquired through the attainment of a high school diploma, or equivalent.
• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to demonstrate ability to: Adhere to safety procedures
• Work with software including MS Word, MS Excel, and Oracle
• Facilitate improvement activities involving multiple stakeholders/lines/departments

Responsibilities

• Count, record, and investigate inventory in accordance with cycle count procedures
• Conduct regular inventory audits and perform inventory corrections in Oracle
• Achieve >98% inventory accuracy on cycle count by leading improvement activities in areas including: Material usage records, production line procedures, shipping/receiving processes, material handling/transactions
• Assist plant personnel with the reconciliation of inventory
• Provide training to plant employees on topics relating to inventory control
