Hydro in North America is seeking an Inventory Control Analyst to oversee daily inventory management for the storeroom and satellite locations, including introducing new stock items and performing cycle counts to ensure accuracy.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, forklift license, and strong organizational skills, with proficiency in Excel and Oracle; CMMS MVP experience is a plus and you will support storeroom attendants to maintain smooth operations.

Job Summary:

The Inventory Control Analyst is responsible for overseeing the daily inventory management of both the main storeroom and its various satellite locations. This role involves managing the process of introducing and implementing new stock items, as well as conducting both random and scheduled inventory counts to ensure accuracy and optimal stock levels.

What you will be doing

• Perform accurate daily cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Create store numbers in Oracle as needed to ensure proper tracking.
• Analyze and resolve inventory discrepancies to maintain correct stock levels.
• Create and optimize store locations to maximize existing storage capacity.

What will make you successful?

Required Education/Experience:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to obtain a forklift license.
• Strong organizational skills are required.
  

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

• Previous Warehouse and Inventory Control Experience is preferred.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with all departments (including Senior Leadership) to resolve inventory-related issues.
• Proficient in computer applications, with advanced Excel skills. Oracle experience is preferred.
• CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System), especially MVP, experience is a plus.
