Boise Cascade is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to manage and reconcile inventory, conduct physical counts, and coordinate with production and sales to ensure accuracy. The role involves forklift operation and maintaining a safe, clean work area in all weather conditions.

The ideal candidate has a HS Diploma or GED (or equivalent) with experience in warehouse operations, strong Excel/Agility skills, and leadership and communication abilities to interface with customers and team members.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED or two years equivalent work experience.
• Leadership qualities and the ability to interface well with customers.
• Proficiency in Excel and Agility software.

Responsibilities

• Perform inventory control duties to maintain accurate records.
• Conduct physical inventory counts and reconcile results with records.
• Coordinate with production and sales orders and forecasts.
• Operate a forklift to maintain inventory position.
• Maintain housekeeping and follow safety programs, OSHA compliance, and continuous process improvement.
