Job summary

Kenco Logistics seeks an Inventory Clerk to maintain inventory accuracy in a distribution center. This role reports on inventory levels, conducts cycle counts and audits, and uses the inventory system to prep materials for shipping and receiving.

Some sites may require additional support such as holds/releases, recalls, and returns, with emphasis on food safety where applicable. The position involves ensuring quality compliance, training coordination, and maintaining the site’s quality

Qualifications

• High School or GED required; associate degree or two years of equivalent experience preferred.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
• Familiar with ISO requirements preferred.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Attention to detail and reliability.
• Pass background and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Maintain perpetual inventory of materials and products and generate reports.
• Conduct daily cycle counts and inventory audits; track damaged goods.
• Verify clerical records against physical counts and investigate discrepancies.
• Coordinate recalls, holds/releases, and product returns.
• Support quality functions to ensure inspection readiness (SQFI, FDA or customer needs).
• Assist in maintaining the site quality management portal and draft/revise SOPs.
