Job summary

Encore is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to improve inventory accuracy across warehouse operations. You will manage cycle counts, reconcile discrepancies, and lead annual physical inventory efforts while collaborating with the Warehouse team.

You will develop reports on aging, turns, and KPI metrics, and maintain strong relationships with internal customers. Excellent Excel and communication skills are required for success in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of warehouse/inventory experience.
• At least 1 year of data entry with high accuracy.
• Ability to drive value and build relationships with internal and external clients.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and customer-service skills.
• Capable of working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and solving problems creatively.
• Proven ability to lead diverse groups of people.
• Strong commitment to service excellence.
• Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office, esp. Excel.

Responsibilities

• Organize and maintain accurate inventory; reconcile discrepancies.
• Perform periodic cycle counts of non-barcoded assets to maintain integrity.
• Identify stagnant inventory and determine corrective actions.
• Establish systems and controls to ensure inventory accuracy in the system.
• Prepare, execute, and reconcile the annual physical inventory.
• Collaborate with Inventory Control and Warehouse teams; provide outstanding internal customer service.
• Develop and distribute regular inventory management reports (aging/turns, accuracy, PI, KPI).
