Job summary

Encore Global is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to optimize warehouse inventory accuracy and reporting. You will perform cycle counts, reconcile discrepancies, and implement controls to maintain system integrity.

Reporting to the Director, Warehouse Operations, you will collaborate with the warehouse team, provide excellent internal customer service, and develop regular inventory reports including aging, turns, and KPI metrics.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of warehouse/inventory experience.
• Minimum one year experience with data entry with high accuracy.
• Ability to drive value to the organization.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external clients.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and customer-service skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and solve problems.
• Demonstrated ability to lead diverse groups of people.
• Commitment to service excellence.
• Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Organize and maintain accurate inventory, reconciling discrepancies.
• Perform periodic cycle counts of non-barcoded assets to maintain integrity.
• Identify stagnant inventory and determine corrective actions.
• Establish systems and controls to ensure inventory accuracy in the system.
• Prepare, execute, and reconcile the annual physical inventory.
• Collaborate with Inventory Control Personnel for accurate processes.
• Provide outstanding internal customer service and build strong relationships.
• Respond promptly to customer needs and project a positive department image.
• Develop, create, analyze and distribute regular inventory management reports (aging, turns, accuracy, PI, KPI).
