Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Inventory Control Specialist for a hybrid role in Welkom. You will safeguard inventory accuracy across storage locations, perform regular cycle counts, and optimize stock levels to meet demand while reducing carrying costs.

The ideal candidate has strong Excel skills, experience with IMS software, and knowledge of FIFO/LIFO and audits. You will collaborate with warehouse and procurement teams and generate reports on turnover, discrepancies, and performance

Qualifications

• Proven experience in inventory control, stock management, or a related field.
• Proficiency with inventory management software (IMS) and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong understanding of inventory control principles, such as FIFO/LIFO and cycle counting.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of accuracy.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• High school diploma or equivalent; certification in inventory management is a plus.

Responsibilities
