Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Logistics Supervisor to lead a warehouse and distribution team in Welkom. You will oversee daily operations, optimize inventory management, and coordinate inbound and outbound shipments to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

The ideal candidate has proven supervisory experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and a solid understanding of WMS and logistics software.

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Logistics Supervisor to lead their team in Welkom . This role is essential for overseeing the day-to-day warehouse and distribution operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and safety. You will be responsible for managing a team of logistics personnel, optimizing inventory management, and coordinating inbound and outbound shipments. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of logistics processes to drive continuous improvement within the Free State operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping operations.
• Ensure accuracy in inventory management, conducting regular cycle counts and reconciliations.
• Optimize warehouse layout and workflow to maximize space utilization and operational efficiency.

Requirements
