Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Retail Stock Controller to manage inventory for their Paarl store, overseeing receiving, storage, and stock movements to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

You will conduct regular stocktakes, investigate discrepancies, and optimise replenishment while supporting hybrid work arrangements for administrative duties.

Qualifications

• Experience in stock control, inventory management or warehousing.
• Proficiency with inventory management software and POS systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Ability to perform physical tasks related to stock handling.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the receiving, processing, and storage of all incoming merchandise.
• Conduct regular and accurate stocktakes, cycle counts, and inventory audits.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical stock and system records.
• Manage stock replenishment orders and ensure optimal stock levels are maintained.
• Implement and maintain efficient inventory management procedures and systems.
• Ensure accurate recording of stock movements, including transfers and returns.
