Inventory Control Specialist

Concorde Battery Corporation manufactures specialty lead-acid batteries and is the leading producer of lead-acid batteries for the aviation industry. Concorde Battery Corporation seeks a motivated candidate to join the Manufacturing Team as a Inventory Control Specialist reporting to the Director of Manufacturing. The successful candidate will assist in managing Concorde's manufacturing programs and processes. The Inventory Control Specialist plays a vital role in supporting the Director of Manufacturing by assisting with daily operations, providing administrative support, and helping to implement the director's strategic vision for a new ERP system. This position involves tasks such as production scheduling, cost control, quality assurance, and personnel management. As part of the manufacturing team, the Inventory Control Specialist will evaluate processes, products, and services to ensure they meet the company's standards.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Assisting in developing, training, and implementing Syspro ERP system.
  • Documents and analyzes data to update ERP.
  • Works hand in hand with Operations and QC to support a robust ERP system.
  • Collecting and analyzing data to identify trends, track performance, and support decision-making.
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvements, efficiency, and productivity.
  • Assisting with the implementation of new projects.
  • Serving as a liaison between the Director of Manufacturing and other departments or external parties.
  • Identifies and drives improvements, liaising with Operations/Engineering/Quality.
  • Works with the Quality team on areas for improvement.
  • Reviews and updates procedures as required.
  • Comply with all safety requirements; participates in safety training/practices.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience with ERP systems in a manufacturing environment, including development, training, and deployment.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Project management experience is a plus.
  • Experience with Six Sigma principles and just-in-time manufacturing is beneficial.
  • Bilingual – English/Spanish is a plus.

Schedule:

  • Monday - Friday, early morning start time, Saturday upon request.
