Staffmark is hiring an Inventory Control Specialist in Urbana, OH! In this role, you'll be responsible for maintaining precise records of raw materials and finished goods. You'll oversee cycle counts, troubleshoot inventory discrepancies, analyze logistics data, and help drive improvements to inventory accuracy and overall processes.



Pay: $22.39/hour



Schedule: 1st Shift | Monday - Friday



Responsibilities:



  • Ensure inventory value is accurate, complete, and compliant.

  • Lead quarterly cycle counts and year-end inventory tasks.

  • Investigate production and labeling discrepancies; initiate corrective actions.

  • Maintain item records in ERP systems; assist in new item setup.

  • Support Finance with inventory valuation and variance analysis.

  • Coordinate with logistics and shipping departments as needed.

  • Analyze inventory and transportation metrics; recommend process improvements.

  • Provide support for inventory-related inquiries.



Qualifications:



  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • 2+ years in inventory control or logistics preferred.

  • ERP and Excel proficiency required.

  • Detail-oriented with strong time management and communication skills.

  • Forklift experience and/or certification is a plus.

  • Must be able to sit, stand, and lift up to 15 lbs as needed.
