Job Summary

The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for monitoring warehouse inventory and performing cycle counting duties to ensure that all materials are properly verified to be reflective of reported inventory. The position is responsible for maintaining a high level of inventory accuracy and integrity within the facility and in Retail Management System (RMS). The role involves regular counts to identify discrepancies, reconcile variances, and control non-conforming products. The Cycle Counter will also train staff in inventory control techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Monitoring and controlling inventory integrity.
  2. Completing physical inventories, cycle counts, audits, and reconciliations; researching discrepancies and correcting them promptly.
  3. Auditing compliance with operational procedures; reporting discrepancies and publishing inventory metrics.
  4. Developing process improvements based on root cause analysis; coordinating efforts across departments to improve inventory accuracy.
  5. Responding to communications, confirming status codes, and ensuring product flow through RDC.
Scope & Impact

Ensure inventory accuracy to meet brand promises and compliance standards. Achieve AOP expectations, reduce issues through root cause analysis, train staff, increase turnover, and provide timely feedback to partners.

Minimum Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED; 0-2 years relevant experience or equivalent.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Power equipment experience preferred.
Physical Demands/Work Environment

Requires sitting, repetitive hand motions, hearing, talking, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, balancing, pushing, pulling, lifting up to 50 pounds, standing, and occasionally climbing stairs or ladders.
