Responsibilities

• Champion labeling accuracy, lot accuracy, weight accuracy, and FIFO compliance.
• Generate reporting from ERP system as needed.
• Address inaccuracies and process deviations in real time.
• Review MSR for future production and communicate shortages.
• Work with purchasing to ensure timely material scheduling.
• Perform and delegate inventory cycle counts.
• Maintain quality standards throughout the plant system.
• Report any quality related deviations.
• Follow food quality and safety guidelines.

Create-A-Pack Foods is currently seeking an Inventory Specialist. Create-A-Pack Foods is a food co-packer and manufacturer located in beautiful Lake Country Wisconsin with locations in both Ixonia and Oconomowoc. Over the past 25+ years, Create-A-Pack has grown from an entrepreneurial vision to a multimillion dollar operation that employs over 200 local employees. Responsibilities

• Champion labeling accuracy, lot accuracy, weight accuracy, and FIFO compliance with the assistance of system generated reports
• Generate reporting from ERP system as needed
• Address individuals with inaccuracies and process deviations in real time and report to supervisors where patterns are developing
• Review MSR for future production and communicate shortage to appropriate personnel
• Work with purchasing and receiving to ensure just in time materials are scheduled appropriately and on time
• Perform & delegate inventory cycle counts as needed
• Maintain quality standards, conditions, and/or specifications throughout the entire plant system
• Report and/or document any quality related deviations to the appropriate personnel
• Avoid contamination whenever possible
• Follow food quality and safety guidelines
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and written
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
• Lift up to 50 lbs sparingly and for sustained amounts of time
• Candidate must be self-motivated, and have the ability to work with minimal supervision
