Create-A-Pack Foods is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to service and keep our Wisconsin operations running smoothly at the Lake Country site with Ixonia and Oconomowoc locations.

Ideal candidates will troubleshoot pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems, perform building maintenance, and uphold safety standards while supporting production. We offer comprehensive benefits and a competitive 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Basic arithmetic and measurement conversions.
• Ability to troubleshoot practical problems with limited standardization.

Responsibilities

• Repair building systems and foundations, including roofs, ceilings, walls, floors, basements, and mechanicals.
• Report health and safety concerns to management.
• Troubleshoot machinery using pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical knowledge.
• Maintain machines to keep them in proper working condition.
• Apply carpentry, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, welding, painting and masonry skills as needed.
• Follow safety policies and procedures at all times.
• Prioritize duties based on operations knowledge.

Create-A-Pack Foods is currently seeking Maintenance Mechanics!

Create-A-Pack Foods is a food co-packer and manufacturer located in beautiful Lake Country Wisconsin with locations in both Ixonia as well as Oconomowoc. Over the past 20 + years, Create-A-Pack has grown from an entrepreneurial vision to a multi-million dollar operation that employs over 300 local employees. Position Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Repairs minor problems of buildings and foundations to include the roof, ceilings, walls, floors, basements and all mechanical contents of the building.
2. Communicates any health and/or safety concerns/violations immediately to management.
3. Uses knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical processes to troubleshoot machinery in a safe and skilled manner
4. Maintains machines in proper working condition at all times
5. Applies general knowledge of carpentry, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, welding, painting and masonry work as needed.
6. Adheres to established policies and procedures paying special attention to safety regulations.
7. Applies knowledge of operations to prioritize duties as required

Knowledge/Experience/Skills:

• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and written
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measures, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exist
• Lift up to 70 lbs.
• Candidate must be self-motivated, and have the ability to work with minimal supervision
• A Minimum of 3 years of industrial maintenance experience
