Precision Medical is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to track and audit inventory on site to ensure accuracy and prevent shortages.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Perform goods receiving transactions, including physical count.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and assist in full annual physical inventory to identify discrepancies.
- Update inventory management system to maintain accurate records.
- Analyze usage and work with Materials Manager on materials ordered to avoid runouts.
- Organize warehouse storage for efficient retrieval and safety.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies (shortages, overages, damaged goods).
- Ensure proper labeling, storage, and organization of inventory.
- Perform daily safety inspection of warehouse equipment.
- Certify and recertify employees on forklift training.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase accuracy and efficiency.
- Act as backup for shipping department as needed.
- Perform additional duties as needed.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experienced with Microsoft Office Suite, inventory-related software, and handheld scanners.

Education and Experience:
- High School diploma or GED.
- 2 to 4 years of previous warehouse or logistics experience.
- Experienced with Microsoft Office Suite, inventory-related software, and handheld scanners.
- Forklift operator certification required; willingness and ability to complete a “train the trainer” course to teach other employees for forklift certification.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Able to climb steps/ladders.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
