Job summary

Colonial Group seeks an Inventory Clerk to maintain accurate records and support warehouse efficiency. You will monitor inventory levels, conduct cycle counts, input data into the WMS, and reconcile variances between physical counts and system records.

The role involves handling damaged goods and quality hold items, performing root cause analysis, and ensuring proper stock placement. The position requires forklift experience and must pass a forklift safety assessment, with shifts Monday–Friday.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and inventory tracking.
• Flexibility to adapt in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular cycle counts and physical audits; reconcile variances.
• Input and maintain inventory data in the WMS; ensure accuracy.
• Prepare and manage shipment documents and inventory adjustments.
• Assist with receiving and order fulfillment; verify counts and inspect for damage.
• Maintain clean, organized warehouse environment; proper labeling and placement.
• Identify inventory issues and propose process improvements to enhance control.
• Perform root cause analysis for recurring issues and recommend actions.
