Job summary

Paycom seeks an Inventory Control Clerk to maintain accurate stock levels across locations. You will read barcodes, count items, and process incoming stock while ensuring data integrity in our inventory system.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 1–3 years of related experience in inventory control.
• Proficiency in inventory management software and data entry systems.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Ability to work under moderate supervision and make decisions.

Responsibilities

• Read barcode labels and use scanning technology to accurately count items during inventory checks.
• Monitor stock locations and update records to ensure accuracy.
• Maintain inventory levels to ensure timely stock replenishment.
• Conduct regular cycle counts and record results.
• Input data into the inventory management system and generate audit reports.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve discrepancies.
