Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking an Inventory Control Coordinator to maintain accuracy and adequacy of inventories across our warehouse. You will compile records of quantity, type, and value of materials, and monitor stock levels to support efficient distribution.

Responsibilities include counting stock, reconciling discrepancies, preparing inventory reports, monitoring shrink, and ensuring safety and accuracy in a multi-temperature warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of inventory experience in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to communicate information accurately and apply strong math skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs and intermediate general computer skills.
• Must be able to work scheduled times and overtime as needed.
• Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift; lift up to 60–90 pounds depending on location.
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry).
• Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Counts material and posts inventory records.
• Compares inventories to office records and computes figures.
• Verifies calculations and investigates discrepancies.
• Compiles receipts or disbursements of materials.
• Monitors inventory rotations and makes recommendations.
• Prepares reports such as inventory balances and cycle counts.
• Reviews and investigates daily reports.
• Maintains shrink at or below company standard.
• Prepares list of depleted items and surveys defective items.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
