POSITION SUMMARY

U.S. AutoForce, a division of U.S. Venture, Inc., brings together more than 100 years of experience as an industry leader in the distribution of tires, undercar parts, and lubricants to independent tire retailers, auto repair shops, and automotive dealerships.

Schedule for this position is Monday-Friday 6:00am-3:00pm or until work is completed. Schedules are subject to change based on business needs.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Load, unload, and stock tires and auto parts in a fast-paced warehouse environment using industrial vehicles such as a forklift or picker equipment.
• Stay physically active doing hands-on work. You can expect to lift up to 80 lbs. Some stock racks are 25 feet tall, so working at heights is required.
• Be on the move. Work on your feet for extended periods and work overtime as needed.
• Contribute to our safety culture by adhering to all safety policies and operating procedures.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Physical demands: Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, handle objects, reach, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, hear, taste, and smell. Occasionally lift products weighing up to 80 lbs. Handling tires (rolling, destacking, team lifting) over 70 lbs. Vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
• Protective equipment required: Steel or composite toe boots, safety vest, harness, seatbelt, SRL (self-retracting lifeline). All equipment provided by U.S. AutoForce except for steel/composite toe boots.
• Work environment: Exposure to weather conditions. Moderate noise levels. Fumes from tires, car parts, and lubricants.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of 1 year relevant work experience
• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to accurately work with lengthy part numbers
• Above-average scanning accuracy
• Ability to follow directions and safety procedures
• Neat and well-organized
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.
• Comfortable working at heights of 25 feet
• Ability to work on feet for extended periods
• Willingness to work overtime as needed
• Basic computer and RF scanner experience
• Pass pre-employment drug test (excluding THC/marijuana)
