Job summary

ALLEN DISTRIBUTION is seeking an Inventory Control Technician to maintain and monitor inventory levels and product movement in our Operations team. You will work 1st shift, 7:00am–3:30pm, Monday–Friday with overtime as needed, reporting to the Operations Manager, and ensuring accuracy in stock levels and data entry.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in inventory control, strong computer skills (MS Office, WMS), and the ability to coordinate with Production Planner and customers on inventory

Qualifications

• Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office.
• Accurate data entry skills.
• Experience with WMS and document scanning.
• Basic arithmetic, reading and writing skills.
• 1–3 years’ experience in Inventory Control.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate product and packaging material inventory usage.
• Do inventory audits and cycle counts as required.
• Coordinate, solve problems, and communicate inventory issues to customers, vendors, and Production Planner.
• Coordinate the product recoup operation.
• Backfill on production lines as needed.
