Job summary

ALLEN DISTRIBUTION in Avondale, AZ is seeking an Inventory Control Technician to help maintain accurate stock levels and ensure efficient product movement. You will monitor inventory, perform cycle counts, and coordinate with the Production Planner to resolve discrepancies and optimize workflows.

The role requires 1-3 years of inventory control experience, intermediate computer skills (MS Office, data entry), and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office and data entry.
• Knowledge of WMS and document scanning.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic, reading, and writing.
• 1-3 years’ experience in Inventory Control.
• Interface directly with customers on inventory adjustments.
• Self-starter with ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate product and packaging material inventory use.
• Do inventory audits and cycle counts as required.
• Ability to coordinate, problem solve, and communicate inventory issues to customers, vendors, and Production Planner.
• Coordinate the product recoup operation.
• Backfill on production lines as needed.
